ABOUT SIEMENS CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN “INDUSTRIAL MACHINARY”

This project is introduced by Government in collaboration with Siemens for the technical development of the students to match the pace of fast growing technology in industry. It is an inter disciplinary research center in the domain of Industrial Machinery, providing assistance for exploratory research projects that promise to advance the Industrial Machinery state of the art. In Gujarat, there are total 11 such centers among which, one is at our institute. There are 9 labs promoting research & development, innovation for existing industries, interfacing to improve technical education in line with industry requirements and covering experimentation related to almost all engineering disciplines.Approximately 4000 students have been benefitted from this project so far.
